Experiment 1 Final Design

Final Structure

This final model uses gemotetry to convey the emotions given by the key words. the top level represents 'teetering'. In order to convey this action the building is stopped from toppling over by thick stay cables anchoring it to the hillside. The lower floor represent 'love' The small confined spaces and curved wall make the space feel as if the structure is embracing its occupants. The Structure seems to emerge from the surrounding landscape, with the earthy tones of the rusty corrugated iron roof allowing it also to sink back into the surrounding country side. Reflections of the sky and surrounding bush land of the glass are also aiding factors helping the Structure seem to belong in the surrounding environment.
